Ballinrobe Road, Castlebar and formerly of Cloonflynn, Ballyglass, Claremorris - peacefully at his home.
Son of the late Martin and Mary McHugh.
Dearly loved husband of Margaret nee Mannix, Purranes, Hollymount; loving father of Michael, Martin, John, Frank, Marguerite, Alan and Dympna (Corcoran).
He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren Shauna, Mark, Dylan, Keelan, Gemma, Leon, Ryan, Callum and Mia, daughters-in-law Jennifer and Siobhain, son-in-law Joe, brother-in-law Frank, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.
John recently celebrated his 86th birthday. He worked for many years as an excavator driver. He had a great interest in all machinery and had driven many different machines over the years. He had a particular interest in vintage cars and vintage machinery.
May he rest in peace.
Removal from his home on Friday, 26th March at 10.45am to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.
Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery.
