Mae Gibbons née Moran,

Cloonkeen, Castlebar - peacefully, in the wonderful care of the Mayo Hospice in her 95th year on Saturday, 17th December 2022.

Mae GibbonsPredeceased by her husband Paddy, daughter-in-law Bridie, her brothers Jim and Mike and her sister Nan.

Loving mother of Padraic and Michael and Marie (Heneghan).

She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, son-in-law Jimmy and daughter-in-law Marian, her adored grandchildren Gary, Gemma, Coleen, Michelle, David, Brenda, Richard, Donna, Karen, Laura, Billy, Brian and Shane and her great-grandchildren Kieran, Amelia, Ruairi, Blanaid, Doireann, Eanna, Morgan, Reece, Harley and Leah.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Mae was a kind and caring person.  She was a talented seamstress and she worked for several years in the Exclusive Fabrics Shop in Castlebar where she was well liked and respected by her work colleagues and the many customers she met over the years.

Reposing at the Coady Funeral Home, Castlebar on Monday, 19th December from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.   

The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Tuesday morning for Funeral Mass at 11.00am.  Afterwards Mae will be laid to rest with her husband in the family plot in Islandeady cemetery.   You may view the Funeral Mass on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or you can listen to it in Castlebar on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3FM.
