The death has occurred of Margaret Patricia Doyle (née Joyce) better known as Patsy, Mountdaisy, Castlebar and Apt 13 Sean Bhaile, Castle Street, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, peacefully on 11th April 2023 at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar. She was 79 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Eddie). Beloved mother of Liz Blake (Castlebar) Doreen Doyle (New York) and 
Edward and Peter (Castlebar).
She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
Patsy started work at a young age with the Castlebar Bacon Company and she later worked in Travenol (Baxter Health Care), Castlebar where she was well liked and respected by all her work colleagues. Patsy was a very sociable person and she loved nothing more than meeting up with her friends old and new. She loved to travel and enjoyed her regular holidays abroad and in Ireland. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved spending time with them.

Patsy will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Friday, 14th April, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm. Removal from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyheane arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Afterwards Patsy will be laid to rest in Ballyheane Cemetery.
