Kilkenny, Castlebar and formerly of Oughty, Drummin, Westport - on 24th August 2023, peacefully in his 90th year at Mayo University Hospital.

James DuffyPredeceased by his parents Thady and Teresa, brothers and sisters; Martin, Bridget, Mary, Teresa, Patrick, Andy, Mikie, Ted and Peter (Pe). 

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen (née Ruddy, Belmullet) and their children Kathryn, Maria, Noreen, Barbara and James, his brother John, his sons- in-law Kevin, Rait, Olivier and Colin, daughter-in-law Kathy, his fifteen grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren, his two sisters-in-law and many nephews and nieces.

May he rest in peace. 

Reposing at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, F23 HT38 on Sunday, 27th August from 5.00pm until 7.00pm.

The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Monday, 28th August for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by removal to Shannon Crematorium arriving for service at 4.00pm.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or can be listened to in Castlebar on Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3FM
