“St Martin,” New Cemetery Road, Newport Road, Castlebar and formerly of James Street, Westport, Co. Mayo on 15th March 2024, peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

John KellyPredeceased by his parents John and Catherine Kelly (née Hoban), James Street, Westport, brothers Tom and Perry and sister Mary.

Beloved husband of Mary née Jordan (formerly McHale Road, Castlebar) and loving father of Stephen, John, David, and Fergus.

John will be sadly missed by his loving wife, his sons, daughter -in-law Chika, grandchildren Ross, Maolisa and Maebh, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

John worked in Baxter for 25 years until his retirement. He also worked in St. Ann’s Board Mills for 10 years in Bristol UK.

John will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, ThomasStreet, Castlebar F23 HT38, on Tuesday   19th March from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, on Wednesday 20th March, for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am. Afterwards John will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or it can be listened to on the Parish Radio 105.3FM.
