Kathleen Flynn Ross East, Castlebar and formerly of Bunowen, Louisburgh

 – unexpectedly but peacefully on 4th February 2026 at Galway University Hospital.

Predeceased by her cherished mother Bridgie (née Kneafsey) and her father Pat Joe.

Kathleen FlynnKathleen will be forever missed and loved  by her heartbroken husband John, her daughters Karen and her husband Seamus Devaney, Gillian and her husband Ronan Collins,  Fiona and her husband Russell Gibbons, Tracey and her husband Darragh Ainsworth and her son Kieran and his wife Helen, her adored grandchildren  Ethan, Caoimhe, Ryan, Josh, Adam, Lily and Elsie.

She will also be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her brother Paddy (Bunowen) and her sister Peggy (Ballyhaunis), her nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, all the family circle and  her many friends and lovely neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Kathleen will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, F23 FD90 on Friday, 6th February from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

The Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Saturday, February 7th for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.

Private cremation service in Shannon Crematorium to follow.

The Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or it can be listened to in Castlebar, on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3fm.
