Mountdaisy, Castlebar - peacefully at Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home 

Dearly loved wife of Walter and loving mother of Marie Carter Lamb (UK),  Jacqueline Coyle (Dublin), Walter (Mountdaisy), Michael (Kildare) and Francis (Mountdaisy).

She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, daughters, sons, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and Frances Cartermany friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Frances loved all aspects of Irish Culture and in particular traditional Irish Music. An accomplished accordion and tin whistle player, having played in many parts of Ireland, she was noted for her beautiful singing voice, her love of Irish Dancing and was involved with Ceoltas throughout her life.

Removal from her home in Mountdaisy on Tuesday morning 2nd March at 10.30 arriving at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 11.30 after which Frances will be laid to rest with her parents in Castlebar Old Cemetery. House private please. 

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Western Alzheimer’s Association c/o Kilcoyne Funeral Home. 

Mass can be viewed on www.castlebarparish.ie or listened to in Castlebar on Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3 FM.
